Haven't used the light much, but it is bright and easy to use. Charging is quick and lasts a while. I'm glad for the USB C.
I wanted to have some experience with the Lumos helmet before writing a review. I think that I have enough now to give some insights. The highest complement that I can pay to this helmet is that after placing the helmet on and leaving to ride, it does not cross my mind until I am trying to unhook the chin strap at the end. My former helmet (Giro) used to make my forehead sore by the end of long rides. That is gratefully a thing of the past. I love the design of the of the firefly light and it’s charging cradle (does not look like a lamb!). The light carries a long charge for multihour rides and I have not been run over by a car so that is great. I have been hit by cars three times during my life so this is not an insignificant issue to me. Well designed, well executed, reasonably priced, responsibly sourced, what’s not to like?
