October 24, 2024Nyxel Part 3: Hues-Day Tuesday Returns with Exclusive Lumos Nyxel Colors and Designs Introducing: CatZilla, and DogZilla! Hey folks! Welcome back to our blog series introducing our newest helmet, the Lumos Nyxel, as we get closer and closer to launching on Kickstarter! Nyxel is more than just a helmet—It's a fusion of cutting-edge safety features and artistic expression. Hues-Day Tuesday is coming back! During our Kickstarter campaign for Ultra back in 2020, "Hues-Day Tuesday" quickly became popular among our backers as we released Ultra in fresh and exciting limited-edition color schemes every week. Backers would vote, and each week there was a winning color scheme that would go into production, exclusively for backers of the Kickstarter campaign. That was how we got some fan favorites like Iron Commuter (that's what everyone ended up calling it), and Digital Camo! We're going to do something similar with Nyxel, but this time with a big step up. Awesome colors First off, Nyxel will be coming with 5 colors already locked-in. Black, White, High-vis Green, Mustard, and Underwater Blue. But during our campaign, we'll also be releasing Nyxel in a range of other awesome color options to vote from and choose. Sweet designs that we made! The beauty of Nyxel is in its simple design. But while we loved that cleanness, we also felt that Nyxel offers a bit of a blank canvas that might offer lots of interesting opportunities for creative expression. Here are some of our favorites that our designers made: Amazing artists that we partnered with! On top of making these designs ourselves, we also reached out to a few artists from around the world, and invited them to showcase their art on Nyxel. Here are two artists that we've partnered with for the Nyxel campaign! Lucia is the owner of Deinki Studio, and is an accomplished fashion and surface pattern designer based in Germany. Her prints and patterns are a delightful blend of color, whimsy, playfulness, and sophistication. Inspired by nature, dreams, and memories, Lucia employs a mix of analog and digital tools to create her captivating work. Sasha is an illustrator based in Stockholm. Her style is often described as soft, quirky, and speaking to children and adults alike. Her work is inspired by both real and imaginary atmospheric places, nature, and simple everyday moments. When not working on client or personal projects, she can be found biking around Stockholm. Nyxel is launching on Kickstarter soon. BE THERE!
