I brought the first version of the Lumos Helmet, with lights and turn signals, over 3 yrs ago when I first purchased my Cube Cross e-bike...like the fact that I could be seen more while on the road, during the day and night, I am seriously thinking bout upgrading to the new Lumos Ultra with the eye protection. With all the lights on the helmet and the turn signals, with the added combined functionality of the added lights and the ArcLight Pedals from Redshift sports, (lights on pedals), I know I can feel confident while travelling on the road day and night, if you ride an ebike, you need all the visibilty on the road at all times, and I would highly recommend these pedals in conjunction with the lumos helmet.
The winter insert has been wonderful. It keeps my head warm while saving time with one less layer to worry about getting on and off each bike ride. The visor is great, too. The audible feedback on turn signals gives me confidence that I'm more visible now.
Hello, I haven't had many chances to wear it yet, but everything seems to be as expected. The delivery was fast, and everything was well packaged. I really like the style of this helmet, especially the visor. I'm thinking about buying another one for my partner, but it's currently out of stock. Fingers crossed.
